Happy anniversary

So it's our anniversary today (4th legally, but really the 12th). And I used my lunch break to run home and leave a beautiful bouquet on the kitchen counter for my beloved wife to find when she gets back from school. And what did she do for me? Nothing. She forgot about it!
What's the compensation a man gets when a woman forgets? Is there even a precedent? Or maybe is this thing actually is my anniversary present?
Because, you know, she's never hearing the end of it. This is going to be so much fun.

• He hey! I hadn't planned on mentioning it, but Animal Nitrate just came on. Winner of the Fredrick F. Stone Lifetime Achievement award for Song That Most Makes Me Feel Like I'm Throwing Stones at my Base. Different Story.
• And by the time I finished the Animal Nitrate bit, Nick Cave's By The Time I Get to Phoenix came on. What a downer.

This is so much fun. I wish I could do something else while listening to music.
